About Aegina

Aegina (view map) is a small island in the Saronic Gulf very close from Athens’ port of Piraeus (sixteen and a half nautical miles), with easy access by frequent high-speed boats or ferryboats.

Despite its small size (83 square kilometers), Aegina dominates over the sea routes between Continental Greece and the Peloponnese, the Ionian and the Aegean Sea.

The natural charm of Aegina, its Mediterranean, dry and healthy climate, all the legends and glories of history, the glorious ruins of the temple of Apollo in Kolona, the prominent temple of Aphaea (built in 480 B.C. to celebrate the victory over the Persian fleet at Salamis, Aphaea is one of the best preserved temples from that period in Greece), its churches and monasteries, its golden beaches and cool bays, the neoclassical mansions and traditional houses, the picturesque villages and the miraculous saint , Agios Nectarios, attract the visitor, who abandons himself to the charm of wandering.

From ancient times, Aegina has been the ideal place for relaxation and spiritual uplifting , a place of artistic inspiration and concentration, asceticism and entertainment.

Aegina was also the first capital of modern Greece in the early 19th century.

The complex

In the island of Aegina, a beautiful complex consisting of 4 independent villas, with exceptional architectural design, situated on a unique plot of approximately 4.200m2 (45.200ft2) has been developed and recently completed.

The complex was selected among other nominees, to participate in the exhibition of architecture, titled “The house in Greece from the 20th to the 21st century” in Benaki Museum, Athens.

The property is located in a quiet area, neighbored by villas, only 300 meters from the sea and 2 min drive from the main port of Aegina town.

The surface of the four villas are approx. 110m2 (1.185ft2), 140m2 (1.510ft2), 155m2 (1.670ft2) and 170m2 (1.830ft2).
